3 Weeks until Panto!
It’s only three weeks til the opening night of our 2024 panto, ‘Sleeping Beauty’ – so what better time for a quick update?
Putting together an entirely original production from auditions to performance in less than three months means there’s so much going on at this stage; our amazing cast are busy learning lines, practicing dances and perfecting songs, while the rest of our team are sourcing props, liaising with our audiovisual techs, and of course, hanging our beautiful black sparkly curtains around the theatre!
We’ve also been working with our front of house team to stock up our bar and make sure we’ve got enough sweeties and ice cream to keep everyone happy, as well as stashing away all our best raffle prizes – we might even have a couple of surprises up our sleeve, too!
There’s still time to grab your tickets – but you’d better be quick, as our Friday and Saturday shows are mostly sold out!
If you’re feeling inspired, you can now sign up for auditions for our 2025 production of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. The show tells the story of three friends, a glam Sydney-based performing group, who take their show to the middle of the Australian outback aboard a battered old bus (named Priscilla). It’s a glittery, colourful carnival jam-packed full of pop hits including “It’s Raining Men”, “Boogie Wonderland”, “Hot Stuff” and LOADS more.
